Jewli Turier, our Operations Manager, delivered the keynote address at the 2015 FANZ conference in Rotorua. This was the 16th consecutive year FRI has delivered the keynote address at this conference. As part of the keynote Jewli shared the findings from FRI’s latest Field Manager Performance Study where hundreds of franchisees were asked whether they would recommend their field manager to other franchisees and why, or why not. Simon Lord, CEO of Franchise New Zealand Magazine, said, "Jewli's session was definitely a highlight of the conference."

Jewli also ran a workshop showing how franchisees with an ACE Mindset are a franchisors most powerful asset. ACE stands for Advocating the franchise to prospective franchisees; Committing to invest further in their business; and Engaging constructively with brand initiatives. The ACE Mindset emerged from exciting new research by The Franchise Relationships Institute into why some franchise networks are prospering and others are going backwards.
