ABOUT THE FAST-TRACK PATHWAY

If you would like to attend our Advanced Field Manager Bootcamp but haven’t yet completed the Foundation program, we have created a new Fast-Track Pathway to get you ready.

Instead of attending the full Foundation Bootcamp, you can complete a carefully selected package of Foundation pre-work in your own time. This includes short videos introducing our key models and tools, selected reading materials, and several diagnostic exercises designed to build your self-awareness and prepare you for the Advanced program.

You will then participate in a two-hour personal coaching session with Greg Nathan, Founder of the Franchise Relationships Institute. During this session, Greg will help you make sense of the key Foundation models, personally debrief your diagnostic results, answer your questions, and ensure you are well prepared to get maximum value from the Advanced Bootcamp.

This pathway gives experienced field managers a flexible and efficient way to gain the essential Foundation knowledge without having to complete the full Foundation program.

Once you have completed the pre-work and coaching session, you will be eligible to participate in the Advanced Field Manager Bootcamp alongside previous Foundation Bootcamp graduates.

Who should attend?

The Advanced Fast-Track Pathway is designed for field managers looking to further develop their influencing, coaching, and financial acumen so they can have a positive impact in their work with experienced franchisees.

Why attend?

At FRI we regard field management as a profession, and as such, field managers need to undergo ongoing professional development to keep their skills sharp so they can support franchisees at a higher level. In addition to building on the concepts gained in the Foundation Bootcamp, the advanced program provides fresh insights into the mechanics behind certain techniques and introduces participants to new and exciting tools and models to enhance their credibility and effectiveness.

How it is conducted?

The Advanced Fast-Track Pathway Bootcamp is conveniently conducted using the Zoom platform over six separate two-hour sessions, spread over three weeks. Participants are expected to engage fully in all sessions with their camera and microphone on. There are also some personal reflection exercises to be completed between sessions. Sessions include a presentation of concepts and breakout discussion groups. Discussion notes are often circulated back to participants who are also encouraged to maintain an action learning plan that captures key insights and commitments. Places are limited to maintain an interactive, high-quality learning environment.

What will you learn?

As a participant in the Advanced Fast-Track Pathway Bootcamp, you will learn the following:

  • Models on the psychology of the franchise relationship.
  • How you rate on key competencies for the field manager role.
  • Processes to deliver effective face-to-face and virtual field visits.
  • Insights into your own and others’ behavioural styles and how to use this to improve influencing skills.
  • Techniques for managing difficult conversations.
  • Coaching tools for improving motivation and performance
  • PLUS all the content in the Advanced program.
The Franchise Council of Australia has accredited the Advanced Field Manager Bootcamp as part of their Certified Franchise Executive Program [CFE] with 300 education credits for CFE registrants who attend.

Who leads the program?

The program is led by Greg Nathan, Founder of the Franchise Relationships Institute.
