Do franchised stores perform better than company stores? This was the topic of FRI’s latest forum held with senior franchise sector executives from leading brands such as Bakers Delight, Pandora, Nando’s, Priceline who came and shared their best practice tips in running a blended network of company owned and franchise stores.

Across the two events, 48 people shared the experience from their brands in round tables covering topics such as how to engage company store managers, how to maximise the performance of retail stores after a conversion from company store to franchise or vice versa and incentive plans for company store managers and staff. Greg Nathan, FRI's founder shared the research findings which showed overall that franchised stores tend to perform about 10% better than company owned stores.
We are grateful to the NAB for the assisting with the event by providing us with venues and refreshments.
